The pupils could select the topics that they would like to find out more about from some 30 lectures.
They include lectures on degree courses in engineering, the humanities, but also training professions and alternative education and training pathways. JHT was represented in the mechanical engineering and design section.

JHT employees manufacture a sculpture in October, 2011

Together - but individual was the slogan of a team event in fall 2011.
Main idea was to produce an artwork in a group with individual aspects. The employees brought scrap parts related to their personal sourroundings. The task was to assemble those scrap parts to one single artwork.
Two regional artists, Leo Jongen and Andreas Joerissen provided the employees with professional advice. So finally on Friday 7th of October 2011 the employees drilled, bolted, welded, and joint and clinched the parts.
Finally, the artwork was exhibited in front of the office building and the event ended in a celebration.
