Data protection statement

The protection of your personal data is particularly important to us. We therefore only process your data on the basis of the statutory provisions. This data protection statement informs you about the type, scope and purpose of processing of personal data (hereinafter referred to in brief as “data”) within our online presence and the websites, functions and content connected with it and within external online presences. With regards to the terms used such as “processing” or “Controller”, we refer to the definitions in Art. 4 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We support the concept of data avoidance and data economy in the area of data protection. Although we store the data listed under item 2, we only do so for the purpose of optimising our website. Your IP address and other personal data, e.g. names or places of residence are not merged. No cookies are set; we do not use tracking either.

2. Recording general information when visiting our website
Each time our website is viewed, information is automatically sent to the server of our website by the browser used on your terminal device. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log-file. The following information is recorded without any action required on your part and stored for automatic deletion:

  • Information about the browser type and the version used
  • The operating system of the user
  • The Internet service provider of the user
  • The IP address of the user
  • Name and URL of the file viewed
  • Date and time of the access as well as time spent on the website

 

The log files contain IP addresses or other data that facilitate assignment to a user. The data are also saved in the log files of our system. The saving in log files is done in order to ensure functionality and use of the website. Furthermore, we use the data to optimise the website and to ensure the security of our IT systems. These data can be assigned to persons whom we cannot identify. This data is not stored together with other user personal details. Data is also not analysed for marketing purposes.

 

3. Google Maps
This website uses Google Maps API in order to show geographical information in a visual form. When using Google Maps, data are collected, processed and used by Google on how visitors to the websites use the maps function. By using this website, you declare your consent to the recording, processing and the usage of the automatically collected data and the data entered by you by Google, one of its representatives or third-party providers. 4. Contact form
If you contact us in relation to any questions by email or using our contact form, you give us your voluntary consent for the purpose of the contact; data processing for the purpose of making contact with us is carried out pursuant to Art. 6 Par. 1 Clause 1 Letter a GDPR pursuant to your consent received on a voluntary basis. A valid email address must be given for this. This is used to assign the enquiry and subsequent response. The information can be stored in a customer relationship management system or comparable enquiry organisation. Providing additional data is optional. The information provided by you will be saved for the purpose of processing the enquiry and for potential subsequent enquiries. Personal data will be automatically deleted after completing the enquiry made by you. We review the requirement every two years; statutory archiving obligations also apply.

 

5. Purpose of data processing/forwarding of data
We only process your personal data for the purposes indicated in this data protection statement. Your personal data is not transmitted to third parties for purposes other than those indicated. We only forward your personal data to third parties if:
• you have given your explicit consent for this,
• processing is necessary to handle the contract with you,
• processing is necessary to meet a legal obligation,
the processing is necessary to safeguard justified interests and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding protectable interest in your data not being forwarded.

 

6. Deletion and/or blocking of data
We comply with the principles of data avoidance and data economy. We therefore only save your personal data for as long as this is necessary to fulfil the purposes named here or as envisaged by the diverse retention periods stipulated by the legislator. Once the respective purpose no longer applies or after expiry of these deadlines, the corresponding data will be routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with the statutory regulations. In the event of the data being recorded to provide the website, this is the case if the respective session has ended. It is not forwarded to third parties.

 

7. Rights of the user / Right to object
As a user, you have the right to receive free-of-charge information about which personal data we have saved about you on request. You also have the right to correction of incorrect data and to restriction in processing or deletion of your personal data. If applicable, you can also assert your right to data portability. If you should assume that your data are being unlawfully processed, you can file an appeal to the responsible supervisory authority. You have a general right of objection pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR. 8. Topicality and amendments to this data protection statement
This data protection statement is currently valid as per May 2018. as our website and services are developed or due to modified statutory or regulatory specifications, we my need to change this data protection declaration. The respectively valid data protection statement can be viewed at any time on the website under Data protection and printed out.
